In business and secular life, he has been a senior executive and CEO in free standing and multi-facility hospital and health care corporations. He is a private equity investor in real estate and small business ventures. He is a decorated Viet Nam veteran who served as a US Army combat medic and was awarded the silver star, air medal and purple heart. He is a frequent speaker at business, health care and religious meetings. He is semi-retired and lives in Long Beach and Palm Springs, California.
